Tim was Born, raised and still resides in Baltimore, Maryland. He was drafted by the Baltimore
Orioles in 4th round (100 th player chosen) in 1978. He pitched for 5 years in Oriole farm system.
Tim was Cal Ripken's roommate for 3 years and has been a manager and coach in
Maryland Orioles’ organization since 1994, winning 7 National Championships during that time. Tim has also won 6
consecutive AAABA National Championships in Johnstown, PA.
Today, Tim is a part-time scout for the Baltimore Orioles. In addition to
managing Youse’s Maryland Orioles college team, he also manages the Oriolelanders, a High School fall showcase
“Scout” team for the Baltimore Orioles.
He is happily
married to his wife Christine.
